CONDITIONS OF SALE

This ticket is issued on behalf of the organisation responsible for the performance or event and is subject to the following Terms and Conditions, together with all other statements or directives shown on the ticket. Customers should note that tickets for all events at the SECC are sold by Scottish Exhibition Ltd, a company incorporated in Scotland registered number SC082081 and having its registered office at Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre, Glasgow G3 8YW, as agent for the organisation responsible for the event.

THE PURCHASE OFFER

An order is deemed to be an irrevocable offer to purchase a ticket or tickets subject to the foregoing Terms and Conditions of Purchase. The acceptance of such an order by SEC Ltd shall be deemed effective when acknowledged and accepted by SEC Ltd during the ordering process. SEC Ltd shall act upon any order so effected, but reserves the right to refuse any order. No order will be binding on SEC Ltd unless accepted by it through the website ordering process. SEC Ltd reserves the right to vary the Terms and Conditions of Purchase at any time prior to the acceptance of an order.

PAYMENT

Payment shall be made in Pounds Sterling by MasterCard, Visa, Delta or Switch Card when an order is placed. Payment will be debited from the account given before the despatch of an order. SEC Ltd will take all reasonable care to keep order and payment details secure, but purchases from this website are at the buyer's risk. Credit card sales will be encrypted.


TICKET ISSUES

Tickets will be sent by post unless we inform you otherwise.

From time to time, we and/or the Event Promoter reserve the right to (i) restrict the sale of tickets to a maximum number per person and (ii) reject the excess of any order for tickets which exceeds such a maximum number.

Lost, destroyed or stolen tickets cannot be replaced.

Tickets cannot be returned to the box office after purchase, unless the event is cancelled.

If the tickets are returned to SEC Ltd as addressee unknown, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the order.

Customers are advised to check their tickets upon receipt.

Tickets are valid for one admission only. Removal of the stub invalidates the ticket.

SHOW CONTENT

The Event Promoter reserves the right to alter or change the programme. SEC Ltd acts as agent only and has no control over the show content.

ADMISSION RESTRICTIONS

Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject customers in reasonable circumstances (for example taking health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account), and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of customers. Customers should note that they may be refused entry or ejected from the venue on account of being (or appearing to be) under age (where relevant), declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or other anti-social behaviour, carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances. No refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected in such circumstances.

No cans, bottles, alcohol or food to be taken into the venue. Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed in the venue.

No cameras or video or audio recording equipment are permitted on the premises without the express permission of the Event Promoter.

Latecomers will only be admitted into the venue at a suitable break in the performance and at the discretion of the Management.

Official merchandising shall only be on sale inside the venue.

LIABILITY

The ticket holder will be responsible for any loss, damage or injury incurred as a result of contracts entered into with SEC Ltd and/or any Promoter, advice sought or obtained from SEC Ltd and/or any Promoter or any loss or damage to Property whilst at the venue unless caused by the negligence of SEC Ltd and/or the Promoter. Where any loss or damage to personal property, brought to the venue is caused by the negligence of SEC Ltd and/or the Promoter, that party's liability shall be limited to the reasonable cost of either repairing or replacing such property, subject to fair wear and tear.

TICKETS HELD FOR COLLECTION

Tickets held for collection at the venue box office can only be collected on the day of the event unless otherwise stipulated. The cardholder must collect the tickets in person, with the card used to purchase the tickets. The cardholder will have to sign for the release of the tickets.

PRIVACY

Customer details are given in accordance with the SECC data protection policy.

These Terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with Scots Law and you hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.

Terms and Conditions for Access and Use of This Website

This World Wide Web site (the "Site") is operated by SCOTTISH EXHIBITION CENTRE LIMITED, a company incorporated in Scotland registered number SC082081 and having its registered office at Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre, Glasgow G3 8YW (the "Company").

Your use of the Site is subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Please read them carefully before accessing any other pages in the Site. Your use of the Site is conditional upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please leave the Site immediately.

Intellectual Property and Dowoads

The intellectual property rights (including but not limited to trade marks, copyright and database rights) in the material, information and computer files on the Site (the "Materials") are owned by, or are licensed to, the Company. Nothing in these terms and conditions transfers to you any rights of ownership of such intellectual property rights or constitutes a licence to use such intellectual property rights other than to the extent expressly set out in these terms and conditions.

You may copy any Materials to the extent necessary to view the Site using normal browsing software. You may not modify, distribute or reproduce the Materials in any manner and for any other use without the prior written consent of the Company.

Notwithstanding the foregoing the Company may from time to time give you the opportunity to download computer files from the Site including (without limitation) files containing or comprising product demonstrations, product descriptions and/or marketing materials ("Downloads"). Such Downloads are subject to these terms and conditions and any other terms and conditions you accept during the installation process of the Downloads. You may copy the Downloads to the extent necessary to view them.

You may not remove any product identification, copyright notices or other notices from the Materials or the Downloads, or any copies thereof which you may have made for your own personal use.

Any unauthorised downloading, use, copying, modification or distribution of the Materials or the Downloads may be in breach of statutory or common law rights which could be the subject of legal action.

The Site, the Materials and/or the Downloads may contain/display: (i) trade marks that are not owned by the Company; and (ii) devices/logos/characters which are protected by copyrights which are not owned by the Company (together "Third Party Marks"). The Company does not make any claim of ownership in relation to any Third Party Marks. Use of a Third Party Mark in the Site, the Materials and/or the Downloads does not constitute endorsement by/of the relevant owner of such Third Party Mark.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Company.

The Company is not responsible for the management and control of Third Party Sites and does not necessarily endorse, support or recommend the views expressed in such Third Party Sites.

The Company is not responsible for the contents of other WWW sites or pages which link to the Site and the Company shall have no liability in respect of such other WWW sites or pages.

Site Accuracy and Liability

The Company reserves the right, at any time and without further notice, to change the Site, the Materials and the terms and conditions which apply to the use of the Site.

Computer Viruses

The Company will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Site, the Materials and the Downloads do not contain or promulgate any viruses or other malicious code.

THE COMPANY EXCLUDES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW ALL LIABILITY (OTHER THAN LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY) IN CONNECTION WITH ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS CAUSED BY COMPUTER VIRUSES OR OTHER MALICIOUS CODE ORIGINATING, OR CONTRACTED, FROM THE SITE, THE MATERIALS, THE DOWNLOADS, OR ANY THIRD PARTY SITES.

Data Protection

Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the Company’s Data Protection Policy.

Indemnity

You hereby indemnify the Company against all costs, expenses (including but not limited to reasonable legal costs and disbursements), losses and damages arising from or incurred by reason of any claims, demands, actions that arise as a result of your breach of these terms and conditions.

This indemnity shall not apply to the extent any such claim or demand or action arises as a result of the Company’s breach of these terms and conditions.

Applicable Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes relating to your access to and use of the Site shall be determined by the Scottish courts.

You are responsible for compliance with any applicable laws of the country from which you are accessing the Site.

Severability

If any court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these terms to be void or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be ineffective to the extent of the courts finding without affecting the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
